“If your actions create a legacy that inspires others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, then, you are an excellent leader.” - Dolly Parton

What Is It?

The Teen Internship Program is a leadership opportunity for older campers who are ready to take a more active role in the Rock Camp community.

Teen Interns support younger campers, build teaching and mentoring skills, and continue growing musically alongside their peers.

In the mornings, Teen Interns assist adult volunteers during instrument instruction. In the afternoons, they form their own band, collaborate with fellow Teen Interns, and take increased ownership of their creative process with guidance from staff.

Teen Interns also help lead camp traditions, support community culture, and gain real-world leadership experience.

Who Is It For?

Girls, transgender, non-binary, and gender-expansive youth ages 14–17 who are excited to grow as mentors, leaders, and musicians.
